30 Day Challenge

Try for as many classes as you can in a month. See massive transformation and create a good yoga habit. You can work at your own level and be your own best competition. You will be amazing at how good you feel making yoga a priority in your life for a whole month.

Sivananda yoga is a classical and holistic approach to Hatha yoga. Based on the teaching of Swami Sivananda" Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realise". It is a systematic practice of Kirtan( meditative chanting of Sanskrit mantras), a balanced set of 12 postures for physical and spiritual alignment balanced with the proper pranayama(breath work), and savasana (relaxation).

Anahata Tantra is a new modality developed by Robbie and derived from 3 major influences:

1) The ancient pre-yoga traditions of Tantra

2) The diverse and innovative approaches of Osho and the so-called 'Californian Tantra' movement and

3) Tibetan Tantra and Vajrayana Buddhism which Robbie studied in northern India.

The engagement of the vastly potent energy of the subtle body will be explored via exercises, meditation, mantra, music, and games! We will unlock the wondrous healing and reconciliatory power of Anahata (the unstruck) heart chakra.

This will be a new view of some very ancient teachings and a really fun introduction to various forms of Tantra and how they might aid us in the strange day-to-day business of life in the 21st century.

Join Haruka for a sound mediation experience for deep relaxation.
No experience is required, simply lay comfortably and immerse yourself in the ancient sounds of Tibetan sound bowls. This practice allows the parasympathetic nervous system to restore, reduces stress, and aids sleep.

Set yourself up for a home yoga practice with this practical workshop. In this workshop, you will learn the foundations that are essential for establishing a consistent home practice. If you want to get a more consistent home practice happening, this workshop is for you.

  • Set intentions so your know why and what you want to achieve

  • Remove obstacles stopping you from practicing

  • Get sequences and tips so you feel confident to do it on your own

A chair is a wonderful prop that gives support and allows us to find freedom in postures that otherwise seem unattainable. Join us for a workshop exploring how you can practice postures with a chair and bring awareness to different parts of the body to deepen and enhance the understanding of the pose.

No experience necessary.

Belinda has studied with Eyal Shifroni the man who has taken chair yoga to the next level.

At a Death Conversation, people drink tea, eat cake and discuss death.

The aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives. Topics discussed include (but are not limited to) how to reach people who don’t want to talk about death; advanced care planning, living wills, and enabling difficult conversations.

This conversation is for everyone. You don’t need to have someone on their death bed for this to be relevent.

A fun yoga class for the whole family. Parents, aunties, grandparents, and kids can all join in this yoga class. It's a nice way to spend time together and learn some fun poses you might like to practice together at home. This class incorporates yoga postures and stories about yoga philosophy to make the class accessible for all. $25/family.

This class last year with Kylie was so much fun, so inclusive and a do not miss if you have kids you would like to introduce to yoga.

Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga. While yoga is a science of the mind, Ayurveda is a science of the body. Ayurveda and yoga and complementary practices and in this workshop you will get an understanding of what Ayurveda is, what body type you have, and some practical tips to help support your health depending on your body type and its needs.

Breathe into your chakras, using ancient breathing techniques which awaken the kundalini. This kind of meditation is very active and not for the faint-hearted.

This method of meditation is perhaps quite different from what you imagine, people sitting crossed legs in silence watching their thoughts. WRONG! This is an active breath meditation and the last thing you have time for is your thoughts. So if you struggle with standard meditation practices, come give this a try.

Be prepared for a transformational experience. It is not suitable for people with heart conditions or pregnant.

Including snacks and debrief at the end of the meditation, there is always so much to talk about and share you will be surprised.

Arm balances are curious, fun and often quite challenging to practice. Join Megan for a playful class to explore crow pose, one of the most popular arm balances, build your core and arm strength and give yourself a fun challenge.

We will transform the yoga studio into a movie theatre to watch the 2011 movie Planet Yoga. The movie explores Yoga, the fastest-growing spiritual practice around the world, and tells the fascinating story of the encounter between the ancient eastern discipline of yoga and a western population hungry for spiritual and physical renewal. Everyone is welcome for a bit of entertainment, chai and Indian sweets.
