Nic is offering this series of workshops to dive a little deeper into the Ashtanga Primary Series Sequence. The first being the fundamentals of both Surya Namaskara A & B (Sun Salutation A & B). We will break down the sequence to each posture, transitions and connecting the movements to your breath. Nic will offer many modifications to suit your unique body, current strength including modification for some injuries or situations you may be working with. There will be plenty of time for you to explore these movements in your own body and ask questions, so you will walk away feeling much more confident with what's right for you. Each student will also receive a booklet with the sequence to support your home practice and take notes. Limited to 15 students as Nic likes to allow for personalized attention.
Standing Sequence - Saturday 18 March 2-4.30pm

We will break down the sequence to each posture, foot and arm placements, body alignment and connecting the movements to your breath. Nic will offer many modifications to suit your unique body, current strength including modification for some injuries or situations you may be working with. There will be plenty of time for you to explore these movements in your own body and ask questions, so you will walk away feeling much more confident with what's right for you. Each student will also receive a booklet with the sequence to support your home practice and take notes. Limited to 15 students as Nic likes to allow for personalized attention.
Finishing Sequence - Saturday 25 March 2-4.30pm

Nic is offering this series of workshops to dive a little deeper into the Ashtanga Primary Series Sequence. The third being the fundamentals of the finishing sequence including backbends, inversion and meditation. We will break down the sequence to each posture of this sequence starting with preparation postures for urdhva dhanurasana (wheel pose), salamba sarvangasana (shoulderstand) and sirsasana (headstand) along with the padmasana (lotus) variations. Nic will offer many modifications to suit your unique body, current strength including modification for some injuries or situations you may be working with. There will be plenty of time for you to explore these movements in your own body and ask questions, so you will walk away feeling much more confident with what's right for you. Each student will also receive a booklet with the sequence to support your home practice and take notes. Limited to 15 students as Nic likes to allow for personalized attention.
