Go Wide – Workshop #1
The science of mindfulness for improving work and life

Mindfulness’ is a type of meditation style known for having a broad application.

It consists of simple concentration skills practised in Buddhist Meditation but applied in a non-secular way, with no lifestyle requirements and less strenuous time commitments. Because of its accessibility, mindfulness has been widely researched for its benefits.

This session will provide an overview of the scientific link between mindfulness training and physical changes to the brain, improving focus and mental clarity, problem solving skills and emotional intelligence — making us more effective individuals in work and life.

Learn simple, practical mindfulness techniques you can easily apply to parts of your life you find challenging, frustrating or simply want to improve upon, including your current yogic practice!

Dig Deep – Workshop #2
Unlocking inner potential with Kundalini Yoga & Meditation

In yogic philosophy, ‘kundalini’ refers to our ‘true potential’ — the creative flow when our values, work and life are aligned. This energy is said to reside at the base of the spine.

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation is considered one of the most comprehensive forms of yoga combining postures with pranayama breath, deep relaxation, silent meditation, and chanting/mantra to release this energy slowly. It tunes the glandular system, releases subconscious thoughts and helps remove internal blocks that keep tripping us up in life.

A deep and intense experience, clarity and lightness can be felt after just a class or two. A style very popular with actors, writers and other creative thinkers and doers, well known Kundalini practitioners include Reese Witherspoon, Amy Adams, and even Hillary Clinton, to name a few.
